NIRMV Vice President

James M. Hines is a retired law enforcement professional. Career highlights included serving as a police officer for several cities plus being a Wayne County Sheriff detective. In addition to focusing on providing distinctive service and protection, Hines strived to be a strong community supporter. He generously assisted people of all ages to sustain and improve their quality of life.

While attending Michigan State University, James experienced group dynamics and the significance of role models. As a result, James mentored many youth including enhancing their awareness of cultural activities and sports. He assumed several leadership positions in the church including serving as deacon. James actively supported NIRMM Salute signature event and exhibit efforts. He looks forward to working in his special NIRMV focus area of church outreach.
